Ok so this weekend is going to be hectic...
tonight i am going out for drinks with my best friend Jodi, we have decided to drift away from our usual spot 'billy the bums' and venture into the Kloof, Hilcrest area. She is going to stay over so she wont have to drive all the way back to town and .... we can drink more.
Then tomorrow i have to take my sister to get some stuff for her project. She has to get information about sanatation and stuff from resturants so she has decided to choose spur and Jonh Dory's.
Then tomorrow afternoon we are going to Kevin Cadmans to watch the rugby. He stays in plantations.
After that we are going to Burn to watch The Living Alarm cos Mark is mad about themever since spalshy. Late night i am sure, I am going ot try and ocnvice Jodi to come with but i dont know if that is her kinda place (noth like it is mine either).
I am so bummed cos my friend Kevin has gone overseas for a month today. (The same Kevinwho saved my at splashy when my tent collapsed) Bless him.
Sunday as you all know is fathers day and comrades. We are going to watch Comrades at Alpine and have boerewors rolls. We might go out for lnch with Marks family for fathers day or i might decide to stay at home and cook for my dad.
Then Claire is have her 21st at Bella Vista in Hillcrest so we might go and have a look at the venue. It is such a beautiful place, claire showed me photos last night. Stunning......
Well it is home time now an i am going to go and prepare myself for the wekend ahead.

FACEBOOK!! WOW!!!!!
i am so gald that Facebook exists because i have found friends that i havent seen in years and i have found my best friend from primary school. it is such an awesome site.
It is just so nice to keep in touch with friends like that.

All i have to say in this blog is THANK GOD that is is a long weekend.
This weekend is probably going to consist of just relaxing. the weather says that is is going to be cold on saturday and sunday so it will be nice to just stay inside and watch dvds.
The rugby is on on saturday and hopefully we will do better than the proteas.

The rain came down
If you live in the Durban area you will have experience the really heavy rains today. I still cant believe how hard it came down. Our computer room in our office was flooding.
Roxanne and i felt like popcorn and Hot chocolate so as brave and as stupid as i am i brave the rain by going across the road to get some hot chocolate and popcorn. i used roxannes car and by the time i got back the roads were flooding and i was soaked. My shoes and hte bottom of my pants were very very wet.
It was well worth it........

Since yesterday i have been staying with my grampa. His girlfriend/ Partner has gone to London to visit her son. So now i get to spend 3 weeks with him. Which is so nice.

Splashy Fen 2007
Well i know tht i havent blogged in a while but my life has been a mad house over the last few weeks.
I will start off with most traumatic thing that has happened .....
About 2 weeks ago Mark and i had a bit of a bad patch and we broke up then we decided to have a break, honestly i thought it was over and then a week later we went to mcdonalds and had a long talk and we got back together. But now what i think is so weird is that at the same time my best frind jodi and her boyfriend also had a bad patch. Our problems were very similar and i can tell you that the two of us had a few pity parties. She also got back together with her boyfriend.
Now for the intersting part................. Splashy Fen 2007
It was fantastic.
Let me start from the beginning.
ON Thursday the 5 April i took half day at work and i left to go straight home to get ready cos Marks was fetching me at 1. After we all got packed we ended up leaving at about 3. We stopped in PMB to fetch our tent and were on our merry way. We got there at about 6 or so and it was now gettting dark and we had to put up this tent, which turned out that you needed a degree to put up. WHAT A MISSION!!!!! After about an hour of trying to put up this bloody tent it was complete. We were camping next to horses so you can imagine the smell!!! Yuck. We unloaded all our clothes and blow up matress and just chilled around the campsite with everyone. Went ended up in bed not too late up not early either. It is so cold there it is ridiculous. We had to sleep with a sheet on the mattress then another sheet on top of us , a woollen balnket, marks clown sleep bag and then my sleeping bag. That night there was a huge storm. The rain poured down and the thunder and lightning was horrific.
We woke up the next morning and an ungodly hour to some indiots looking for a guy called Nico. so now we are up and mark went to get us breakfast. as egg and bacon roll. After taht i decided to get dressed and go and find a shower. Whilst looking for clothes to where i discovered that all my jeans that we at the bottom of my bag had gotten wet. Shit. So i phoned my moms friend Di who had a stall there and went to dry my clothes up there in the sun. Her son Kevin was there and he is one year younger than me, but is a fantastic guy. I owe him a ot, but you will find out more about that later in the blog. Kirsty Di's daughter showed me where the HOT showers were and you had to pay but there was no line so i would have paid R100 to have a shower. I felt so refreshed afterwards. The i headed back down to the campsite and we just chilled around the campsite and then had a bit of a snooze int eh afternoon. That night we went to the top main tent to listen to all the bands playing the in Burn tent. I had to carry Daniel down to his tent cos he had had so much to drink. So i took him down and then went back to the top. I met up with Kevin and we listened to bagpipes for a while then went to the burn tent. They really had some nice bands there. After that is started to rain and kevin had to go help his mom with their tent cos the wind was blowing. I told mark i was going back to our tent and that i woudl see him later. He stayed and listened to the bands in the burn tent. When i arrived at our tent after a long walk in the rain, i was now freezing and tired i discovered that our tent had collapsed. I so couldnt belive my luck. I burst into tears, u no me. so i called my mom and she told me to try and get hold of Kevin cos mark want opening his cell. So Kevin Da Da da daaaaaaaa, came to my rescue and helped me put the tent back together. Thank god for kevin. So after that traumatic expereince i got into bed a fell asleep listening to the rain drop on the top of the tent. I am not sure at what time mark came back to the tent but i told him thestory and he couldnt believe it. So he got into bed and then next thing i new it was morning and the sun was shining outside. that day i went back to my paying showers only to discover that there was a long line. OH NO!!! well not that bad i only waited for about a hour and 15 mins, but it was sooooo worth it. I had my shoer and went back to the campsite. Claires friend Roxy had arrived that day and she had brought her guitar with ehr so everyone was sitting around the campfire and listening to music. The sun came and went for the rest of the day but it got hot and then all of a sudden got very cold. That night we just chilled and everyone went to the top but i wasnt feeling my self to i just went and lay in bed.
On sunday which was our last day there we got up and one of marks friend and i decided to go and have a shower. So we trekked all the way to the paying showers by the hippy tents only to discover there was a water shortage!! NNNNNOOOOOO!!! so we went back to the Radox showers to see if they had water but nope they didnt. There was a sign that said cum back at 10 so we went back to the campsite and thought that if we go back at 10 there might be a long line so we went back to the Radox showers at about 9 and there was no one else there so we sat and waited . At 10 they trned on the water and it was hot and working. Yay. We didnt have to wait long after that. So after our nice warm shower we retuned to our tent all clean and smelling nice. we sat around the fire with some guys from a fews tenst up from us. we had boerwors and vienna on the braai. The guys thought they were chef during their time at splashy andd the previous day decided to create a breakfast meal call SCRAM (named by Paula) It consists of 3 tins of baked bean crispy bacon and scrambled egg. It didnt look very nice but i was delicious. We had that two days in a row but yum.
Some of the guys decided to do a series of MYTH BUSTERS>>>>>>> What is that you ask well they put a closed can on beer on teh burning logs in the fire to see if it would explode. It didnt explode it just poped and you could see the beer spraying out and they said NOOOOO it wont explode. So we carried on talking and all of a sudden it exploded. Ha ha ha ha ha it was hilirious. People scattered everywhere and we all burst into laughter. Now it was on they put everything on this fire. eggs which also exploded, 2 litre coke bottles with a bit of brandy in. There was more junk in the fire that actual wood.
That night we jsut hung around our campsite in one of the guys tents all 8 or 9 of us. joking and singing along to the guitar. We all proceeded to the main tent to get some food as we were hungry. We had boerwors rolls anthe other hadpotjies and burgers. It stated to rain and we went back to our tent we all sat and chatted and joke until about 11 then wen to bet as we had to get up early and pack to go home.
We got out of bed at about 9 and were packed in about an hour. Then tent was just as much of a mission to take down and it was to put up, but we did it. We stopped and got some food on the way out and then all proceeded to get on the road after geting petrol
We were travelling on our way home. there was Daniel, Nina, Troy and Kyle in one car, Claire, Marka dn myself in another. Then paula, Daniel (CORSA), Byrona dn Kayleigh in anotehr. We got just before PMB when Troy and Kyle decided to moon us. Oh my gosh, it waws histerical.
We arrived home at about one and were really relieved to see a familiar area.
I got home and had a long hot shower> it was fantastic.

Long time no blog.....
Hey guys i am so sorry that i havent blogged in a while. But my life has just been a little hectic. This is probably going ot be brief but a blog non the less. Mark and i are still together. It is our 7 months on Monday 19 March 2007. I am still very happy and we are going to splashy fen this year. Now i dont do the outdoors but i thought that i woudl try something new. At least i get to spend time with him for a whole four days. We are then probably going to house sit for my friend Jodis cousin for a few days. But the best is we are most likely going to go away in July and go bungie jumping. It is going to be so much fun.
Last friday night Jodi, claire and i went to casablanca. It was just a typical girls night. We had so much fun. I ended up staying at Jodi's house overnight and we only got to bed at about 3 on saturday morning. We then woke up at 11 and then got ready and went for lunch. We had such a girls weekend and it was so nice . The i went over to marks house on saturday to watch the rugby, whcih now has become a ritual as well as having mammarattzis for dinner then ice cream. They have the best ice cream. But there is a new addition to his family. She is a rotweiler puppy and she is called Abby. She is sooooo cute. i will post some pictures soon.
Work is going ok. i am starting to have a look around as to what i can study to further myself.
Otherwise there isnt much i can tell you.

Grannys Birthday
Ok so the last time you heard from me i was going to La Strada for dinner but we ended up going to Pappa giovani's in Hillcrest. The food was amazing although it was a bit noisy. I had pasta pockets filled with pumpkin in a tomato napolitan sauce it was delicious. Then for DESSERT i had MILKY BAR CHEESE CAKE. Yum
I really enjoyed myself and recommend it to anyone who doesnt mind shouting over the table He he he

Le Strada (I think that is how you spell it)
Hi all
Tonight is marks grans birthday and we are going to Le strada for dinner. I have never been there before so i am quite excited. I have just called Marks sister to see what the dress code is> She said that is smart casual so i am probably going to wear black pants and a nice smart top...
Now some other news...
Marks mom hs just finished her exams for psychology and has hit the pav two days in a row, i am so jealous. But the night before her final exam their african grey (Ziggy) got very sick and they had to rush her to the vet who gave her an injection in her chest, she is still very quite and not her self but Claire says that she is getting better.
Will let you all know how my dinner went.. Hope you enjoy your evening

Training at work
This week at work we are having a guy out from Australia to do DP (Perm) training. He is here fro the whole week. Last night which iwas Monday we went to Ciao italia with the whole office. I must say that it was a very nice dinner and we had a great time getting to know Micheal. So we had training today from 9 - 3. And i must say taht i enjoyed it and learned alot. There is alot of role play invovled but what can we do.

How i met mark
Ok here is the story of how i met Mark.....
It all started with our IT guys at work, Stuart. He asked me to coffee the one night and then we went to the ice rink one night with a bunch of his friends, Mark, Claire (Marks sister), Daniel, Jp and Bradley and his girldfriend. We had a blast i really enjoy ice skating. Mark was very friendly and i though that he was a really nice guy. Now i had this feeling that Stuart and i werent going to work out. Just after that i discoered that i had TB , I was booked into hospital for 5 days (the worst 5 days of my life) and stuart phoned me a few times but after that it all faded away. Now at that stage Mark was working at the video shop up the road form us and he had seen me come in with my mom a few times. So when my mom went it ther ethe one day he asked about me and he wanted to come and see me in the hopsital but i wasnt allowed visitors. So he just sent regards. When i got out of hospital i was booked off work for two weeks after so i ws at home not doing much but being alone, so as a result i got a lot of dvds. So after a few meetings in teh video shop he asked me for my number and then we started smsing eachother, late at night and long smses to. He eventually asked me our for coffee, we went to Mugg & Bean and went there a few times after that. Now this would have been my first serious relationship so i was a bit hesitant in the beginning. the one night he came to my house and when he was leaving he bought me a red rose out of the car and asked if we we going to go out. i was a bit shock as it just came out straight and i said i am not sure. So that was a weird moment. So on that Friday he asked me to go to his house to talk about us and the whole relationship thing. So i went to his house and met his family. Then after that we went into the granny flat a talked until like 1 or 2 int he morning when i eventually deceded to go out with him. he then drove me home. We have now been going out for 5 months and it is 6 months on the 19 February. I am really happy with him and i love him so much.

Green man
last night i went to Green man (formally known as Tina's Hotel). they have kareoke ther on a Wednesday. It is such a vibe . We didnt sing but we are planning to go there next week with Lindis brother from the Uk who is a singer and has acted in the play "Cats". He sings beautiful.
mark had to work overtime so he met us there afterwards. he worked until 8 and the company bought them MacDonalds for dinner and he ended up having 3 burgers. I dont know how he does it.

Work
Ok...... About my work life!!
I work for a recruitement company here in durban and i started here as a receptionist athen moved to Administrator now as of September 2006 I am a Temp Consultant. I was just saying to the one guys i work with (literally the one guy, he is in a office full of women and he is the only guy) that i so miss being on reception and doing admin. almost everyday now i got to work expecting the worst and actually scared. I am constantly nervous.
I dont know what to do anymore cos i am like a nervous reck, and i think the only thing that keeps me sane is mark. I have made a few mistakes but i am still training so it is not like i did in on purpose.
There is just one person in our office who blows the severity of the situation out of had and i think that i am much more relaxed when that person is not around.
I have spoken to my boss about it and she knows that this person is a DRAMA QUEEN. So i know that she understands where i am cuming from.
But she is really starting to get to me and i dont know how to ignore it and i know that it is bad and if i dont sort it out now it is just going to get worse. This person has also told me a few things like they think that i should go to the doctor cos she thinks that the TB pills that i was on did something to my brain (The TB story i will explain at a later stage). That person has also said a few derogatory things to me and i will say that it did hurt. that person has no right to talk to me like that but i am not one for confrontation so i dont think that i could stand up to her.
I will tell you more about it as i blog more....

My weekend
Hi
i know that i havent blogged ina while but i have been really busy with work.
So lets start with Friday.......
On Friday the plan was for awhole bunch of us to go to 80's.
Mark (my boyfriend), myself and his sister Claire went and had dinner at John Dorys cos one of the guys who was coming with us Daniel who is one of marks good friends works there and then we were going to go straight from there after his hift at 9. But plans changed. we ended up only leaving at about 10 and didnt end up going to 80's but we first went BURN!! ( Now i would never have ever thought that i would have gone to burn, but that was before i met mark). So we were at BURN for while. Mark went downstairs and danced to, dare i say, "his sort of music". Daniel, Claire and i stayed up stiars and chated and had a drink or two. Then we deced to leave and go to 54. But on the way up to 54 which is in Pinetown we checked the temrperature and it was 27'C but now this is at like 12 o'clock at night. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT. This weather is unbelievable. Now i have never been to 54 before but i must say that is was not what i expected. I really enjoyed the vibe. We had a few drinks and danced for while so we eventually left there at about 2. We all went in one car so we had to drop Daniel and his sister at John Dory's where he had left his car. Then we all went to get Break fast inPitas. We eventually go thome at about 3 after Claire had dropped us off at my place then she went home. I havent had that much fun in such a long time
SATURDAY......
On saturday Mark and i went to get his Cellphone. We have gone to this Vodashop 3 weekends in a row now and still have not go thte phone. The first time they wouldnt approve him getting the cellphone cos he had not previous credit. How ridiculous!! Anyway to after that we went to this place called Casbah in Pinetown where we got the biggest toasted sandwiches that i have ever seen. A half of this sandwich is like a whole normal toasted sandwich. And it only costs like R14. They were delicious. After that we went back to Marks place and watch a move then had a sleep (we were still tired from teh previous nights activities). Now that night i had to go to a family dinner at my aunts house in Durban but mark didnt come with so when i got back from dinner i gave him a call and he was a drkings with his friend Jason who he had worked with at spur. They fetched me and we went to Green Man (formally known as Tina's) for a few drinks. We then decided to move on to Stokers. We had quite a few drinks and left there at about 3 in the morning. We dropped Jason off at home and went back to Marks as i was staying ther ethat night. We ended up in be ad about 4
SUNDAY......
Sunday we slept in and got up at about 10:30. We watched My Super Ex-Girls friend which iws a good movie. Then we went for a swim while marks dad was making lunch (Beef stipps in a sauce and potato chips) Yum, i love his dads cooking. We watch another move Step up that afternoon, what a excellent movie. Then i stayed for dinner and we had Mamaratzis and wathc Constantine with Keanu Reeves..

My first Blog
Hey...
This is my first blog and i am feeling a bit nervous cos this is the first time i will be sharing my thoughts with whoever reads this.
